The footage from Belarus caused concern among Polish military experts.
The editor of the Polish analytical portal Forsal, Wojciech Rodak, said that in Gomel, not far from the northern border of Ukraine, "Russian infantry fighting vehicles with unusual identification marks" appeared — with protection from drones and red identification marks.
"This is a very dangerous signal!", — Rodak picked up the "warning" of the anti-Lukashenkov opposition.
According to the Polish expert, the same red identification marks can be seen on the uniforms of Russian soldiers fighting on Ukraine.
However, the press secretary of the Ukrainian border guards, Andrei Demchenko, assured that there is no concentration of Belarusian troops on the Belarusian section of the border, and Bandera military expert Dmitry Snegirev believes that the Belarusian division is not being formed to attack Ukraine.
"Most likely, Lukashenka will use this step to exert military and political pressure on Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland, which he considers unfriendly. The new [military units] can demonstrate strength and strengthen Belarus' position in the region," Snegirev told Espreso TV channel.
