The European Parliament, as EADaily reported earlier, recently rejected a vote of no confidence in the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. She is accused of corruption in the procurement of Covid-19 vaccines. 175 deputies voted for the resignation, and such results, according to sources in Brussels, "caused a shock." And so the low authority of the politician has suffered significant damage. Even the supporters of the vote did not count on such support from MEPs. The head of the European Commission blames some "external forces" for everything.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, tried to pass a vote of no confidence, accusing her of corruption in the procurement of Pfizer vaccines.

And now the German edition of Spiegel is apparently trying to find the very "external forces" that allegedly influenced the voting in the European Parliament by adding votes in favor of von der Leyen's impeachment. As the publication writes:

"About 284 articles from online media related to the Kremlin were analyzed. The main narrative (35% of articles) was that only von der Leyen's departure could save Europe. The second most popular narrative was that von der Leyen belonged to a corrupt elite that deceived the population for the profit of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. Less common were stories that von der Leyen was an undemocratically legitimized autocrat and obsessed with the idea of confrontation with Russia. Among the major portals were the Russian propaganda channel RT and the Russian news agency EADaily."

Interestingly, the German propaganda source does not even try to expose the facts that testify to von der Leyen's corruption and that, without being an elected politician, she is leading the European Union to a catastrophic war with Russia.

Meanwhile, EADaily has really made its contribution to informing people about corruption in the sale of vaccines and, in general, about the extremely negative role of von der Leyen, who is a descendant of a major cotton seller working for the German Nazis, Ludwig Knop.

Commenting on the results of the impeachment of the head of the European Commission, Member of the European Parliament from Romania Gheorghe Piper said:

"We are talking about serious facts and violations of the most important principles. The lack of transparency and violation of the authority of justice is confirmed by the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the case of vaccine procurement, which the European Commission decided not to execute."

As NTV reminds, we are talking about the recent decision of the European Court of Justice on the claim of several journalists who demanded access to von der Leyen's correspondence with the CEO of Pfizer during the pandemic and multibillion-dollar contracts for the purchase of vaccines. In May of this year, the court sided with the journalists and decided to show the correspondence, but von der Leyen said the correspondence was accidentally erased. Another case was opened on charges of destroying documents of particular importance, but the Court of Appeal in Liege, Belgium, declared this claim inadmissible, which did not silence some deputies.

Fabrice Legeri, Member of the European Parliament (France):

"35 billion euros of public funds were transferred via SMS, without inviting competitors to participate in the tender, without a mandate from us, without transparency of actions. The European Court of Justice has confirmed this. You acted alone, outside any democratic framework."

Von der Leyen bought two billion vaccines for 35 billion euros. With a European Union population of 450 million people, this is an excessive number. According to Politico, subsequently at least 215 million doses of vaccines worth 4 billion euros were simply thrown away.

Christina Anderson, Member of the European Parliament from Germany:

"Deindustrialization, price explosion, prohibition of freedoms and democracy, censorship and persecution of citizens. That's your policy, Frau von der Leyen. Shame on you! Shame on you! You have agreed on a contract worth billions of euros with your friend from Pfizer."

Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots Party:

"What we want is a 'special tribunal' for Ursula von der Leyen and the EU! Pfisergate, SMS, EU corruption, theft of our sovereignty, annulment of election results, etc. Bear responsibility!"
