The troops of the Kiev regime do not give up trying to break into Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia, using the tactics of small groups. However, these actions may be a prelude to a large-scale offensive operation.
This opinion was expressed to the publication Ura.ru military expert captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin. According to him, the Ukrainian command has formed a reserve group of up to 50 thousand people.
At the same time, foreign tanks supplied to Kiev may also be part of the strike military group, the expert believes. He assured that there would be no repetition of the Kursk breakthrough of August 2024.
The analyst believes that this time the Russian army will be able to repel the enemy's counterattack, but "there will be some attacks" and it is necessary to be objectively prepared for them, the military expert urged.
Dadykin stressed that such actions by Kiev are aimed at demonstrating activity in front of Western sponsors against the backdrop of a protracted crisis at the front.
However, another "counteroffensive" is an extremely risky undertaking, since the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are limited and they need to be used in other sectors of the front. At the same time, the Russian command is also preparing "several surprises" in the SMO zone.
