Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria opposed the trade agreement with Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrainian media with reference to European diplomats who attended the meeting of the EU Council on Agriculture, UNIAN reports.
According to representatives of these countries, the agreement will lead to the destabilization of the European market, the agency reports.
It is noted that the framework of the new agreement with Ukraine is being discussed in the process of replacing the trade visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union, which ceased to operate on June 5.
As reported by EADaily, official Warsaw is satisfied with the cancellation of the trade visa-free travel for goods from Ukraine, said Polish Agriculture Minister Czeslaw Sekerski.
