The former presenter of Channel One and NTV Anton Privolnov, when he first got to Israel, was horrified by the unusually uncomfortable living conditions. He told about it on the Sheinkin40 YouTube channel.
"When we first moved, when there is a lack of order, when you have cleaners in Moscow, Jeep, a good school for a child, which for some reason he refuses to go to, everything is very comfortable. And then you arrive, you go to a store in Israel, there is Hebrew right there and often there is no dubbing in English, and you don't understand — it's shampoo, shower gel, soap... and I'm like, My God, what have I done?", the TV star recalls.
Privolnov was also struck by the heat, huge cockroaches that not only "hang out on the streets," but can also fly.
"Apartments are rented empty. And you look — it seems to be normal. And then you drive in — and there's nothing, only mold can still appear in some places. Because this is Israel, everything is different here," he stressed.
"And I'm sitting in this apartment, looking — mold is coming out; a big cockroach has come out; a child is screaming; you understand that there is no dishwasher to which you are used. And you think: cool, yes, I'm out of my comfort zone. Do you think when all this is over, what did I do, maybe I did everything wrong?", concluded the TV presenter.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Privolnov said that he had left Russia almost immediately after the start of a special military operation — in August 2022. The former television star noted that the first three months were a kind of swing — to return, not to return, antidepressants, "what am I doing here, what is the reality."
