Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Mikhail Bogdanov from the post of Deputy Foreign Minister. This is stated in the relevant decree signed today.
"To release Mikhail Leonidovich Bogdanov from the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation," the document says.
The President also relieved Bogdanov of the duties of his special representative for the Middle East and African countries.
Both decrees come into force from the moment of signing.
As reported by TASS with reference to a source, Mikhail Bogdanov submitted a letter of resignation at his own request.
