In Israel, opposition politicians criticize the decision to cease fire in the war with Iran. They indicate that the objectives of the attack on the Ayatollah regime have not been achieved, writes newsru.co.il .
In particular, the leader of the Our Home Israel party, former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, published the following comment:
"Against the background of the incredible achievements of the IDF and "Mossad“ the final chord of the war with Iran causes a feeling of bitterness and aches the heart. Instead of Iran's unconditional surrender, the world has chosen the path of negotiations, the fate of which is completely unclear: the Ayatollah regime does not intend to stop uranium enrichment, production and modernization of ballistic missiles, support and financing of terrorist organizations. Even at the beginning of the war, I warned that there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded lion. A ceasefire without a clear and unambiguous agreement will lead us to a new war. It will happen in two or three years, but in much worse conditions for Israel."
The leader of the opposition, the head of the Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, said:
"And now— Gaza. It's time to finish there too. Return the hostages, end the war. Israel must begin to recover."
As EADaily reported, the American media began to attribute the success of the ceasefire to US President Donald Trump. So, the NBC News channel, citing a senior White House official, claims that the conflict stopped after Trump called the Prime Minister of the Jewish state, Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding to stop all hostilities, since Tehran is already "significantly weakened."
