The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed another group strike on military infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, June 21, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision air, land and sea—based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles on the infrastructure of the military airfield and the facility of the fuel and energy complex that provides fuel for the AFU grouping in the Donbas," the report says.
The press service said that the purpose of the strikes has been fully achieved. All assigned objects are hit. Ukrainian sources report a fire at the Kremenchug refinery. NASA satellite data record hotbeds of fire on the entire area of the enterprise.
According to eyewitnesses, at least fifty explosions sounded in total. "Geraniums" came in waves, and the Ukrainian air defense practically did not work.
It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As a result, production workshops and assembly and storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, ammunition depots and military equipment, as well as temporary deployment points for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nationalists and foreign mercenaries in 142 districts were hit.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the operators of the Geran-2 UAV carried out pinpoint strikes on AFU facilities in a number of areas of the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. Bridges in the area of the settlements of Shakhovo and Vladimirovka in the DPR, control points of enemy UAVs in the area of Yablonovka in the DPR were hit.
