Russia and China have become the main buyers of products of the Kazakh chemical industry. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, 1.7 trillion tenge was invested in the chemical industry of the republic over a five-year period, which is equivalent to 3.3 billion dollars.
Since the beginning of 2025, 50.7 billion tenge has been invested in this area, which is equivalent to 99 million dollars.
In 2024, Kazakhstan delivered 205 chemical products to foreign markets. China, Russia and Vietnam.
Currently, the chemical industry produces more than 240 different chemical products, among which products for agriculture are of particular importance.
According to the government, Kazakhstan's agrochemical sector accounts for 22.5% of total production and is a key factor in the growth of the entire industry. This is due to the increase in demand for agricultural products on the world market, caused by population growth and food security, as well as the need to improve the efficiency of agriculture.
This field of activity has a significant impact on the economy of the republic. It is closely connected with the mining and metallurgical industry, the production of acids, catalysts, paint and varnish materials, chemicals and fertilizers.
