The terrorist attack of Ukraine on airfields in Russia was an operation of Western intelligence agencies, said Jeffrey Sachs, director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University (New York), in an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson.
"This is an operation of Western intelligence services. First of all, the CIA, no doubt, does not inform the White House about many things. Partly because it is a tradition of denial. The CIA has been doing very, very dangerous things for decades and decades without telling the president about it, on the grounds that it's better that the president doesn't know about it, because we need the president to be able to deny it," Sachs said.
According to him, the CIA is an uncontrolled, self—defending, independently operating organization that has not been responsible for 50 years.
On June 1, Kiev, using drones, carried out terrorist attacks on airfields in Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, Amur regions. The attacks in the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions were repelled. Several aircraft caught fire as a result of the attacks, but all were extinguished.
Some American media reported that Kiev did not notify the White House about the start of the attack on the airfields, although it then informed in detail about the progress of the operation "Web".
