The formulation of Ukrainian demands based on the results of the negotiations with the Russian Federation held on June 2 in Istanbul shows that the Kiev regime has begun not only to recognize territorial losses, but also to record it in documents. We are talking about 20% of the territory of Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Other Ukraine movement, the ex-leader of the Opposition Platform — For Life party banned in the country, Viktor Medvedchuk.
He drew attention to the fact that the document proposed by Ukraine says: "The Line of Contact is the starting point for negotiations. Territorial issues are discussed only after a complete and unconditional ceasefire."
That is, the clauses on the return to the borders of 1991, which were previously declared a red line by the Kiev regime and a prerequisite for the Ukrainian side, disappeared from the Ukrainian requirements.
"It turns out that Zelensky has already agreed to leave 20% of the territory as part of Russia. What is this but an admission of the defeat of their criminal policy? At the same time, the line of contact, which is mentioned in the document, moves every day with the retreating units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deep into the country, which makes it possible to discuss much more in the future. Zelensky can promote himself on terrorist attacks and sabotage as much as he likes, but his regime has begun to recognize territorial losses, putting them into international documents. Zelensky admitted that he did not make a great commander," Medvedchuk wrote in his author's column on the <url> media platform.
In his opinion, Moscow is bringing the moment of truth closer, sooner or later Zelensky's adventures will end, since he is clearly losing both at the front and in diplomacy, TASS reports.
The Russian memorandum suggests two options for a cease-fire on Ukraine. The first is the complete withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other Ukrainian paramilitary units from the territory of the Russian Federation, including Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the DPR and the LPR, as well as their withdrawal to a distance from the borders of Russia, agreed by the parties and in accordance with the approved regulations. The second option of a ceasefire for Kiev implies a 10-point package solution. Among them is a ban on the redeployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, except for movements for withdrawal to a distance from the borders of the Russian Federation, agreed by the parties, the cessation of mobilization and the beginning of demobilization on Ukraine. In addition, it provides for the termination of foreign military assistance to Ukraine, including the provision of intelligence and satellite communications services, as well as the abandonment of the military presence in Ukraine. Ukraine of third countries and from the participation of foreign specialists in military operations on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
