The main thing is from the briefing of the Ukrainian delegation on the results of the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul, the media reports:

  • Russia has conveyed its demands to the Ukrainian side. Ukraine will take a week to study the document, and then decide on further steps.
  • Ukraine insists on a complete cessation of hostilities on the ground, in the air and at sea.
  • Ukraine demands the return of children taken out of the country by Russia and prisoners. Russia has received a list of several hundred children whose return is demanded by Ukraine. As for the wounded, Kiev proposes to first exchange seriously wounded, young servicemen aged 19-25 in the "all for all" format, as well as transfer the bodies of all the dead to each other.
  • Ukraine demands a meeting of the leaders of the two countries. All problems can be solved only at the level of leaders. Such a meeting can take place in the presence of other heads of state, for example, the US president. The meeting is proposed to be scheduled for the end of the month — in the period from June 20 to June 30.
"We say: this war must end. The whole world supports us. The first steps are the cessation of hostilities, humanitarian steps, preparation of a meeting of leaders," said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, who heads the Ukrainian delegation.
