The UK is ready for an armed clash with Russia. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, John Healy, according to the Daily Express.
"This is a message to Moscow. Britain is strengthening its armed forces, as well as its industrial base. This is part of our readiness to fight if necessary," he said, speaking about the increase in British defense spending, RIA Novosti reports.
On the eve of Healy said that by 2034 the United Kingdom will spend three percent of GDP on defense. He noted that he has no doubt that the country will reach such an indicator.
