The Russian Armed Forces have significantly activated and are conducting an offensive in the Zaporozhye direction. This was stated by the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, UNIAN reports.

According to Syrsky, the Russian army concentrated its main efforts on the Pokrovsky, Toretsky, Limansky, Novopavlovsky directions, as well as on the border areas of Sumy region.

The Russian Armed Forces also gained a significant advantage thanks to the use of fiber—optic UAVs, a technology that Ukraine cannot yet cope with, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.

As EADaily reported, according to some reports, the village of Alekseevka in Sumy region was liberated after the Divers. This was stated by military correspondent Yuri Kotenok. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces also control about half of the village of Yunakovka.
