The United States has its own demands for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, but decisions must be made by Moscow and Kiev at the negotiating table. This was stated today on the Fox News channel by the official representative of the US State Department Tammy Bruce.
So she commented on the discussion by Moscow and Kiev of the terms of the conflict settlement.
"Now, obviously, in the framework of negotiations, which I cannot comment on, or in any diplomatic approaches, the president (Donald Trump. — Ed.) very publicly states what he feels… But these are (conditions for conflict resolution. — Ed.) should already be between the parties — between Ukraine and Russia. We put people at the negotiating table. They know what our requirements are, but it will really depend on them," Bruce said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, Russia is ready to hold a second round of direct talks with Ukraine to resolve the crisis next Monday, June 2, in Istanbul. This was stated at a briefing by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
