The Kiev regime, before the second round of negotiations in Istanbul, is again throwing a tantrum in order to fill its price. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on Channel One.
"They made the same hysteria, the same unconstructive noise that time," the diplomat recalled. — Remember, the main thesis was that the Russian delegation is not satisfied, allegedly its composition is not the same, the level is also allegedly not suitable, it even reached the word "props" from the Kiev regime. How did it end? They sat down at the negotiating table, and moreover, as a result of these negotiations, the most important and largest thousand-for-a-thousand exchange took place."
She noted that "this is how we should treat the next wave of this very information noise."
"Under this noise, they want to bargain for something again, to attract attention to themselves again, to get their own price again, although they get bumps every time, but apparently they like it that way. Our position is constructive, it is open, it is stated directly," Zakharova stressed, quoted by TASS.
As EADaily reported, earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that Moscow was ready to present its memorandum of peace agreement to Kiev during the second round of direct talks in Istanbul on June 2. The document sets out the position of the Russian Federation "on all aspects of reliably overcoming the root causes of the crisis."
Russia will once again send presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky to negotiate with Ukraine, as before. The composition of the Russian delegation, which he will head, will remain unchanged.
The last round of negotiations took place on May 16.
