Russian actor and musician Gleb Kalyuzhny arrived at a recruiting station in Moscow, from where he will go on military service. This is reported by TASS.
Kalyuzhny noted that during the service he would miss friends most of all, as well as work.
"After filming in the "Kid" project, which took place in the new territories in Donetsk and Mariupol, I have already decided that I am ready to serve," said the actor's agent Grigory Sukhov.
Russian actor and musician Kalyuzhny starred in three dozen films and TV series, including "14 +", "Difficult teenagers", "Vampires of the middle lane", "Blockade Diary", "Red Silk".
On October 9, the film "The First on Olympus" by Artyom Mikhalkov will be released on Russian screens, in which Kalyuzhny played the main role of two-time Olympic rowing champion Yuri Tyukalov.
As reported by EADaily, it became known earlier that a criminal case against Kalyuzhny was initiated under part 1 of Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Evasion from military and alternative civilian service." It was claimed that the reason for this was "prolonged evasion from military service in the army."
Then it turned out that in October last year Kalyuzhny was notified of the need to appear at the military enlistment office, but did not appear. The artist has no grounds for postponement or release from service.
Later, a representative of the actor said that he would join the army on May 27 of this year.
Earlier, the telegram channel Mash reported that the whole family was escorting Kalyuzhny to the army.
