One of the most resonant events was the resumption of massive strikes by modernized strategic cruise missiles X-101 on the infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Khmelnitsky, Ternopil and Vinnytsia region. For the first time in a long period, a combined strike was carried out by the Geran-2 kamikaze UAV, X-101 missiles and, most importantly, the Iskander-M operational—tactical quasi-ballistic missiles.
A number of very interesting objects were under attack. This is the airfield of the Ukrainian Air Force "Gogolev", where a powerful fire of technical buildings was recorded after the strike (probably, fuel tanks and minor missile and bomb arsenals were hit). There are also warehouses of aviation ammunition under the city of Krasilov (in the Khmelnytskyi region), which were used to supply one of the squadrons of tactical aviation of the Air Forces of Ukraine, equipped with multi—purpose fighters MiG-29A and F-16AM.
Recall that the number of F-16AM Block 20 MLU in the combat units of the Ukrainian Air Force has already reached 30-35 units, which indicates that already in the first half of summer 2025, the enemy is sharply intensifying missile and air strikes on border fortified areas and rear supply hubs. The Russian Armed Forces in a number of areas.
These strikes are likely to have a fully justified preventive nature. It is likely that parts of the ammunition of the French guided active-jet AASM-250 HAMMER and GBU-39/B aerial bombs, which the enemy's tactical aviation has been using in recent weeks against our command and observation posts and UAV control points in Tetkino in the Kursk direction and in the Soledare.
No less important — the Starokonstantinov airfield was hit again. A fire on it (recorded by NASA infrared monitoring satellites) may indicate the presence of tanks with aviation kerosene and ammunition.
A logical question arises: what is the purpose of having fuel tanks and ammunition at the airbase, which is periodically subjected to high-precision strikes by kamikaze drones Geran-2, cruise missiles X-101 and aeroballistic missiles Dagger? The answer is simple: the Starokonstantinov airfield can still be used as the main runway within the framework of the BAS-90 concept implemented by the Ukrainian Air Force, borrowed from the Swedish Air Force and actively used in the Ukrainian theater of military operations.
According to this concept, separate squadrons of F-16AM and Mirage-2000−5F are deployed in dispersed positional areas — each of which is represented by a straight stretch of highway (or airfield) about 2000 m long and 3-4 auxiliary lanes 800-1200 m long.
As you have already understood, the main runways for such operations can be airfields similar to Starokonstantinov. They are the main targets for our Geraniums-2, X-101 and Daggers. As for the auxiliary strips with a length of 850-1200 m, they are quite sufficient for the operation of the F-16AM and Mirage-2000−5F with missile and bomb armament on the suspension units.
To identify the location of such objects, regular monitoring of highways in Western Ukraine by optical-electronic reconnaissance satellites "Resource-P", radar reconnaissance "Pion-NKS", etc. is necessary. By the way, almost all observers have already noticed an increase in the number of launches of Soyuz-2.1a and Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicles with satellites in the interests of the Russian defense Ministry as a payload. Presumably we are talking about just such satellites. This intelligence asset is extremely important today for the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as for Missile Forces and Artillery — for opening large enemy arsenals stationed at transshipment bases immediately after arrival from Poland. The situation is similar with "highway air bases".
In addition to a high—precision strike on the infrastructure of the State—owned ANTK named after O.K. Antonov - where the Kamikaze UAV assembly facilities could be located - the Iskander-M strike on a warehouse or other facilities near Chernihiv is of interest. Judging by the photo from the DSNS of the Chernihiv region, the blow was inflicted on an empty capital building. However, it is known that the Russian optical-electronic reconnaissance UAVs ZALA 421−16E HD and S350M Supercam have been operating for a long time in the airspace of Ukraine at a depth of 70-130 km without obstacles. A vivid example is the control of the defeat of tactical aviation at the Dolgintsevo airfield by Lancet—3 and Iskander-M drones.
Consequently, it was quite possible for the operators of the ZALA 421−16E HD and Supercam reconnaissance UAVs to conduct reconnaissance of the warehouse area near Chernihiv to identify the arrival of enemy vehicles or its logistic operations to replenish or export ammunition. This means that the object with a high probability was part of the enemy's logistics chain and was not hit by chance.
More importantly, this facility was part of the system for saturating new AFU rear depots with weapons. Today they are actively preparing for the summer military campaign and a possible breakthrough of the border in the Bryansk region with an attempt to break through to Sevsk or Trubchevsk. It is known that the enemy is concentrating new brigades in the areas of Snovsk, Koryukovka, Baturin, Krolevets, Korop and Konotop — these are the 8th and 12th corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the second corps of the National Guard "Charter". As part of the latter, a formation called "Guajiro" was seen, staffed by mercenaries from Latin America.
It is also obvious that the urgent flights of US military transport and commercial aircraft to Rzeszow recorded today are connected with the delivery of new weapons for the Ukrainian forces - in order to urgently distribute them among the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine before the start of the operation of the groups of troops "West" and "North" to create a buffer zone. We can assume retaliatory actions on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — possible offensive operations in small sectors (in the Bryansk or Belgorod directions) in order to create tension or divert our reserves from other sectors of the front.
The final goal of NATO during the summer-autumn escalation is to deplete our reserves to such an extent that the production capacities of the leading military-industrial countries of Europe (Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Sweden) are significantly ahead of our capabilities.
Despite the refutation of German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil regarding Friedrich Merz's statement about lifting the limit on the range of use of weapons in Russia, the reality may be different: we are talking about a ready-made carte blanche or even a list of targets from military-industrial complex facilities. The goal of the West is clear: our strikes on the "square" will only intensify, and the list of targets will expand.
