During a visit by the President of the Russian Federation to the Kursk region, his helicopter actually hit the epicenter of a massive attack by Ukrainian drones. This was announced today, May 25, by the commander of the air defense division Yuri Dashkin on the Russia 24 TV channel.

The President visited the Kursk region on a working trip on May 20.

"(The helicopter was) actually in the epicenter of repelling a massive attack by enemy drones," Dashkin said.

However, according to Dashkin, the massive drone attack was successfully repelled, the Russian military fully ensured the safety of the president.

As EADaily reported, during a working trip to the Kursk region, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the heads of municipalities in the region and made a number of important statements on the situation in the region.
