Sweden and Denmark handed over old fishing nets to Kiev to protect them from Russian drones. This is reported by the publication "Strana" with reference to the Finnish broadcaster Yle.
Drones flying high in the sky are difficult to resist, but Ukraine has found a way — the Ukrainian Armed Forces use used fishing nets donated by the Swedes and Danes, writes Yle.
Denmark, for example, supplied fishing nets to Ukraine for a total of 2.5 million euros. It is noted that most of these nets became useless after the UK left the European Union, when Danish fishermen were banned from fishing in British territorial waters.
