Russia has received from the Ukrainian side a counter list of prisoners for the exchange according to the formula "1000 to 1000".

This is reported by the TASS news agency, referring to the statement of the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

"Yes, indeed, it has been received now," he answered the relevant question.

Recall that Moscow handed over a similar list to Kiev the day before. The agreement on the largest exchange since the beginning of SMO was reached by the delegations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine at the talks in Istanbul on May 16.

The information of receiving the list from Moscow was confirmed by the Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of war. At the same time, the Russian side expresses interest in conducting the exchange as soon as possible, but this is a time-consuming process.

Nevertheless, the publication claims that the exchange should take place in the coming days. This was announced by the head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky.

During the talks, the delegations agreed to continue discussions after exchanging views on a possible future ceasefire. Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Moscow is ready to work with Kiev on a memorandum on a possible peace treaty, where, among other things, the nuances of the ceasefire will be spelled out.

Earlier, EADaily reported that a personal meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is possible in principle, but it can only happen if certain agreements are reached between the delegations.
