The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Mao Ning, at a recent briefing addressed the EU leadership, which, according to the In the Middle Kingdom, it is necessary to abandon double standards by cooperating with Russia. The reason for the appeal to Brussels was the introduction by the united Europe of the 17th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The new package covers more than 2.4 thousand individuals and legal entities, it also includes companies from China.

"The European Union should stop applying double standards in matters of trade and economic cooperation with Russia and stop infringing on the legitimate interests of Chinese companies," Mao Ning believes.
