The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Russia has put forward new demands in Istanbul. This is reported by RBC — Ukraine with reference to the official representative of the department Georgy Tikhy.
"It's hard to say. In principle, yes, but you need to look at clear documents and then you can compare. As far as I understand, new requirements have appeared," said Tikhy.
According to Tikhy, the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul "voiced a number of unacceptable things."
He stressed that he could not "disclose the content of the negotiations," because "it is simply incorrect."
Tikhy also said that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is ready to meet directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We want to make progress and for this we need to organize a meeting at the level of heads of state," he added.
