Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan Nuriddin Azizi at the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum" confirmed plans to conclude an agreement on duty-free export of products from Russia. This was announced today, May 16, RIA Novosti reports.
The statement of the official from Afghanistan was made during the session of the Russian-Afghan dialogue at the forum.
"Right now, there are not many products from Russia. For example, wheat that is exported to Afghanistan, the difference is one hundred dollars. The wheat comes in and we pay a hundred dollars more. We want this duty on exports to Afghanistan to become zero," Azizi said.
