Accused of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the well-known Russian bard Sergei Nikitin, who later categorically rejected the accusations, spoke on the occasion of the Physicist's Day at Moscow State University (Moscow State University). A video recording of a fragment of the speech was published by the telegram channel "Paragraph".
No details of the concert are given in the publication, in particular, the date and time of the performance are not specified.
"How this character ended up there is unclear," the report says.
As EADaily reported, last year actress Chulpan Khamatova published an announcement of her May performance in the Montenegrin Budva at the 9-day festival. Together with other pacifist foreign agents, Tatiana and Sergey Nikitin were announced to participate in the event. It was clarified that the duo condemned the special military operation, recorded videos for the anti-Russian organization "Real Russia" ** *, which collects money to help Ukraine. At the same time, the fees from the Khamatova festival in Budva were also planned to be sent to help Ukraine.
After the appearance of this information Nikitin made an appeal to the audience, colleagues, friends and fans.
"First of all, we want to say that we have never financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine and did not intend to do so," the text of the appeal said.
It is also indicated that the duo refused to participate in the Montenegrin festival "Age of Happiness". An official letter has already been sent to the organizer of the event with a request to remove the Nikitins' names from the poster.
After this situation, it became known that Nikitin's anniversary concert scheduled for June 13 in Moscow was canceled.
The Bardic duo later stated that they had 11 concerts scheduled, tours, the musicians were "exhausted". Therefore, they will definitely not come to Moscow in early June. However, a visit to the capital in July of this year was not excluded, "if the clouds dissipate."
But Nikitin was able to come to Moscow in June last year and take part in the gala concert of the All-Russian Children's festival of the author's song "Listen and Say".
