A Victory Parade is being held on Moscow's Red Square in honor of the 80th anniversary of the feat of the Soviet people.
Traditionally, the Parade begins at 10.00, it opens with the removal of the national flag and the Victory Banner. Units of Russian troops, including foot crews and military equipment, will pass through Red Square. Soldiers of the Special Military Operation will also take part in the march. Russian President Vladimir Putin will address the citizens of the state with a speech, and it will end with a minute's silence ceremony in memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.
