Actor Ivan Mokhovikov, who was remembered by the audience for the role of Corporal Kuzma Sokolov in the TV series "Soldiers", suffered from the actions of fraudsters in Tallinn. He told about it in an interview with the portal "Lady Mail".
According to the actor, the incident occurred several years ago when he went to Tallinn "to visit his native places."
"And that's where my mom and I were fooled. In the city center, a seller approached us and began to actively offer to buy pots and knives from a very well—known brand at a very favorable price," the artist recalls.
Mom became interested in the product, and Mokhovikov paid for kitchen utensils.
"I didn't notice the catch and paid for it: Europe, of course, should not be cheated," he explained.
However, already at home, after reviewing the acquisitions, Mokhovikov realized that it was a fake.
"I was upset, of course. I calmed down only by the fact that this seller didn't leave me very happy either — I bargained for him at a price much lower than the stated one," the actor stated.
He added that then for several years the whole family used a European fake.
As EADaily reported, the Russian pensioner transferred a total of 58.7 million rubles to telephone fraudsters who acted according to the already known scheme. With an 80-year-old man, they turned out a scheme "to replace electricity meters."
