The German company EKC.AG sold chrome to the Russian military enterprise Uralvagonzavod. This is reported by the newspaper Handelsblatt.

According to the publication, the company located in Würzburg EKC.AG supplied in Russia chrome used in the manufacture of military equipment. Among the buyers of the products was the Russian Uralvagonzavod, one of the key enterprises of the defense industry of the Russian Federation. According to export reports, from the beginning of 2023 to April 2024 at EKC.AG accounted for about half of all chrome shipments to Russia — in the amount of 24.2 million euros, Novini Live reports.
