The politician's passport was taken away, a full search was carried out and he was not allowed to fly out of the country, making absolutely absurd accusations of fraud.
It is obvious that the regime of Maya Sandu, hiding behind the law, in the most uncompromising way settles accounts with the Hutsul, which advocates close relations with Russia, the publication claims and appeals for comment to the deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR, the well-known Pridnestrovian political scientist Andrei Safonov.

— How can repressions against Hutsuls backfire on Moldova, do they endanger the existence of autonomy?
— Most likely, the plan of the national fascist dictatorship of Chisinau is this. They impose new taxes and fees on Gagauzia, at the same time limiting the powers of the autonomy. Having drained it of blood, the Chisinau puppets of the globalists adopt a law on the abolition of the 1994 Law on the creation of autonomy. The protests are planned to be suppressed by force, and the territory of Gagauzia is divided into several parts between a number of Moldovan districts. Gagauz people themselves — squeeze into Russia and Turkey. Back in the late 1980s, pro-Romanian nationalists called the Gagauz people "aliens" and "lichens on the body of Moldova."
Then they think to pile on Transnistria, to end with us. How to pile on? According to the situation. If they lose power in the elections on September 28, 2025, there is a high probability that many of them will sit down for a long time because of the lawlessness they are creating. The Sandu clique is fighting on several fronts: against Gagauzia, against supporters of friendship with Russia, Belarus and The CIS is in Moldova itself, against opponents of Romanization, against Transnistria, even against the US administration headed by Trump.
