The Minister of National Defense of Poland, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, was ridiculed for the "important news" that the first female pilot of the American F-16 aircraft appeared in the country.
The "joyful" news was shared on social networks by the Polish Minister of Defense.
"Important news for our Air Force and all Polish Armed Forces - the first woman became an F-16 pilot! The officer serves at the 32nd Tactical Airbase in Laska. She has been trained in the USA and can now fly our fighters. We are proud of you!" he wrote on the "X" network.
However, instead of sharing the militaristic joy, Polish experts criticized the minister. So, the political blogger Bartlomei Lipchinsky turned to To Kosinyak-Kamysh with the words: "You think you are in a cartoon, and you behave like in a cartoon." And then he allegedly quoted a report to the minister on behalf of the pilot:
"Sorry, I'm not flying today, I'm taking a vacation on my own, I have premenstrual tension."
The editor-in-chief of the Polish edition of The Highest Hour, Tomasz Sommer, continued to develop the women's theme:
"The first week of sick leave, then a year of maternity leave, two years of parental leave, and four years later ... the second child. Mr. Kosinyak, it really makes sense."
Another political blogger Janis Kulesha gave out:
"Wow! Information that is equal in importance to the victory near Vienna. Who advised Kosinyak to post such a post? This is information from Bantustan! In NATO armies, female pilots are the norm. Gather in your Ministry of National Defense and publish really important things."
