NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte does not intend to comment on the course of the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict in order "not to interfere in the peace process." He stated this today, April 15, upon arrival in Odessa.
"I decided not to comment on all the intermediate stages of this whole process, because I don't want to interfere in the peace process, and whatever we do, we do it as discretely as possible, and I can't comment on it," he said at a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelensky.
At the same time, Rutte welcomed the "US efforts" for a peaceful settlement, but noted that the process is "not easy."
