German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock was humiliated again in Syria, despite hundreds of millions of dollars and instructions she brought to Damascus. This is reported by the Ukrainian opposition blogger Anatoly Shariy.
"Berbok flew to Syria. Brought terrorists and murderers hundreds of millions from German taxpayers. The leader of the murderers Julani again refused to shake her hand, and on state television her face was simply censored with squares. It's just amazing," Shari comments on the picture of the day.
It should be noted that on the eve of her trip to Syria, Berbok broke out in a keynote speech, which was published on the website of the German Foreign Ministry. The message is completely saturated with teachings with good intentions.
"The targeted killing of civilians is a terrible crime. The Transitional Government must have control over the actions of the groups in its own ranks and bring the perpetrators to justice. For successful reconciliation, a functioning transitional justice system and a reassessment of the crimes of (Bashar) Assad are currently key factors. Experienced international organizations can provide support," Berbok said, in particular.
According to her, continuing the fight against the "cells of extremism and terrorism," resolutely advancing political transit and providing the people with economic prospects as soon as possible is a gigantic task facing the Syrian transitional government headed by Ahmed al—Sharaa."
Berbok noted that Germany wants to support Syrians together with European partners and the UN, for example, by allocating 300 million euros for humanitarian aid and providing access to education and psychosocial support, as announced on Monday at the Brussels Conference on Syria.
"Therefore, with my trip today, I am once again addressing the Syrians with a clear message: a new political beginning between Europe and Syria, between Germany and Syria is possible. However, this is also due to clear expectations that freedom, security and opportunities in Syria extend to all people — women and men, representatives of all nationalities and religions," the minister stressed.
Scraping turned out to be in vain — Berbok was humiliated again without shaking hands and blurring his face.
