A working meeting of representatives of the rear services was held at the Russian Ministry of Defense, during which it was decided to revise the norms for the supply of clothing for attack aircraft.
The event was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Andrei Bulyga. He focused on the issues of providing property to units performing the tasks of a special military operation.
According to the press service of the military department, the deputy minister heard reports on the clothing support of assault units of groups of troops.
"And he instructed to release the servicemen participating in the assaults from the need to deposit an all—season set of field uniforms (VKPO) after the end of their service life, as well as to continue issuing the second sets of VKPO and replace them promptly in case of wear," the statement said.
Issues of modernization of technical means of the clothing service were also discussed. It was noted that portable showers have proven themselves well. They were especially appreciated by those military personnel who perform tasks directly on the line of combat contact.
Andrei Bulyga also instructed to amend the regulations on the operation of washing machines in the SMO area — it was decided to reduce it from 5 years to 2 years.
