Washington is no longer considering the possibility of concluding a deal on minerals with Ukraine, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on CBS.
Earlier on Monday night, Vladimir Zelensky said that he was still ready to sign this agreement.
"All President Zelensky had to do was come and sign an economic agreement, and thereby strengthen the close ties between the Ukrainian and American peoples, but he decided to spoil everything," he said.
The deal fell through after the visit of the head of the Kiev regime to the White House. His meeting with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance escalated into a public skirmish, after which Zelensky left the United States.
