The former presenter of Channel One, journalist Zhanna Agalakova❶ is included in the list of foreign agents. The updated register is published on the official portal of the Ministry of Justice of Russia.
At the same time, journalist Ilya Azar❶, blogger Rustem Adagamov❶, columnist Elizaveta Alexandrova-Zorina❶ and Ukrainian comedian Anton Lirnik❶ are included in the register.
In particular, it is indicated that all the citizens included in the register opposed the special military operation of Russia on In Ukraine, they took part in the creation and distribution of the content of foreign agents, and in the dissemination of fakes about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities.
In addition, the agency notes that Agalakova❶ participated as a respondent on an information platform provided to foreign media. Adagamov❶ and Azar❶ disseminated false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Azar❶ also interacts with an organization included in the list of foreign and international organizations whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of Russia. Alexandrova-Zorina❶ cooperates with foreign media.
All new foreign agents live outside of Russia.
As reported by EADaily, Agalakova❶, a former correspondent of the Russian First Channel in France, quit because of a military special operation on Ukraine, as she herself reported, speaking at the Reporters Without Borders organization in Paris. Explaining her decision, Agalakova❶ admitted that she had been engaged in "propaganda" all these years and praised the "independent media".
