Japan has imposed sanctions against 11 individuals and 29 legal entities registered in the Russian Federation. Three Russian banks were also sanctioned. This was stated in a press release on the official website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan on Friday, January 10.
"Measures such as freezing the assets of related parties in Russia and other countries. Russian related parties (11 individuals, 29 organizations) and certain banks (three organizations), as well as related parties from countries and regions other than Russia and Belarus (one individual)," the publication says.
Also, an export ban was imposed on 22 Russian organizations.
The Russian banks that have been sanctioned are CMRBank, RFK Bank and Timber Bank.
In addition, the restrictions affected the military-industrial complex NPO Mashinostroenie and the Aleksinsky Chemical Plant.
The sanctions list of individuals, in particular, includes: General Director of ALROSA Pavel Marinychev; First Deputy General Director of Rostec Vladimir Artyakov; General Director of PSV Technologies Sergey Petrov; founder and general director of the logistics company NOVELCO Grigory Grigoriev; head of NPO Electromashina Igor Afanasyev; head of the company Testkomplekt Ruslan Bulatov and others.
