The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on "rumors fanned by pro-Western media about discord in the family of the President of Uzbekistan, the respected Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev."
As Kadyrov recalled, more than two months ago there was information that an assassination attempt on former official Komil Allamzhonov took place in Uzbekistan.
"It is difficult to call it an assassination attempt with a stretch. The media immediately referred to some sources (practice shows that pro-Western media invent these sources), who announced my participation in the preparation of the assassination attempt. I said then, and I say now: if I had been preparing this, I would have finished the job on the same day. You shouldn't have such a bad opinion of me," the head of Chechnya said.
Another issue, Kadyrov noted, is the sudden appearance of a certain official Dmitry Lee in all this. He surfaced in the role of another failed victim of that "assassination attempt" two months later, after the start of the trial in the case.
"A strange attempt. I believe that along with a thorough investigation of this incident, an internal audit is also needed against the investigators who are dealing with this story. I am sure that all this commotion is being used by a certain party from the inside for some of its far-reaching behind-the-scenes games. In any case, I strongly advise all those interested not to attract the Chechen trail to various kinds of machinations. As a Chechen, I don't need to do anything for my influence in Uzbekistan. I am friends with an influential family, and these are wonderful people with whom, praise be to Allah, my father also had excellent relations," the head of Chechnya noted.
According to Kadyrov, everything that is happening is the first alarming and seemingly harmless call about what is being prepared around the current president of Uzbekistan.
"Pro-Western scenarios of color revolutions are different, but they always start with small conflicts, and in this particular case I clearly see how there is an information attack on people loyal to the president, on the reputation of reliable associates. Against the background of the uproar about the "assassination attempt", some media outlets carefully launched another story that the president's daughter and his son-in-law could claim power. This, of course, is ridiculous. First of all, the daughters of Shavkat Mirziyoyev are not so stupid. And secondly, few people know the character and devotion of Otabek Umarov, who does not call his father-in-law otherwise than father. This is an incredibly loyal person to the president, who would never dream of harming Shavkat Miromonovich in any way. I would believe in the arrival in Grozny of aliens from another galaxy than in such nonsense spread by pseudo—independent media," Kadyrov said.
He is sure that "someone is trying to undermine a good team, break the system." This is a well-thought-out scenario that threatens the country's leadership, and first of all, people loyal to the leadership are put at risk in order to deprive the president of a reliable environment, Kadyrov believes.
"Therefore, as a person who is far from indifferent to what is happening, I call on representatives of the respected presidential family to make a statement and dispel all these dirty rumors. Well To Komil Allamzhonov and Dmitry Lee recommends not to flirt in the role of victims. Whatever you are plotting, it is better to stop in time, otherwise you will have to answer for all the machinations, slander and speculation. And now I'm talking about the answer according to our traditions," Kadyrov threatened.
