Oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline to Belarus and further to Europe have resumed. Earlier it was reported about technical problems on the border with Belarus.

Deliveries via the Druzhba oil pipeline from Russia have resumed.

"JSC "Gomeltransneft Druzhba is operating normally," BelTA news agency reports with reference to the company.

Earlier, as reported by Reuters, the supply of Russian and Kazakh oil stopped. Agency sources said that Transneft discovered a problem at the Unecha pumping station in the Bryansk region of Russia near the border with Belarus. 300 thousand barrels were supplied daily through the pipeline. One of the interlocutors of the agency noted that the problem can be solved within a few days.

Via the southern branch of Druzhba, oil flows through Ukraine to Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. In the north, through Poland, to Germany. The pipeline is exempt from sanctions The EU is banning the import of Russian oil.
