The second power unit of the Belarusian NPP, located in the city of Ostrovets, Grodno region, has been disconnected from the grid due to sensor operation. This was stated in the Ministry of Energy of Belarus.

"The second power unit of the Belarusian NPP is temporarily disconnected from the grid due to the operation of one of the sensors," the department's telegram channel says.

It is noted that the decision to turn off the unit was made to carry out routine diagnostics of the sensors of the supporting systems. Now the corresponding work is being carried out at the Belarusian NPP. They do not affect the safety of the plant and its equipment, the Ministry of Energy stressed.
