The statement of the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the inevitability of an invasion of the Kursk region sounds like an excuse. This was stated by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.

Bezuglaya commented on Syrsky's confession in an interview with the French newspaper Le Monde that he had no choice.

"I had no choice, I had to spend this (in the Kursk region. — EADaily) operation. I had to simultaneously disrupt the offensive on Kharkov, ease the pressure on all fronts and prevent the opening of a new front in Sumy. That's why I decided to attack where the enemy was vulnerable, with a very small number of troops guarding the border," said the commander—in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, quoted by the Yahoo portal.

"Syrsky adopted the dubious practice of the leadership to give interviews to foreign sources, instead of explaining directly to his own people. Moreover, the management has already improved a little, and he, you see…

The thesis sounds like an excuse. Did you miss the repeated invasion of Kharkiv region on purpose, too? Without any preparation for defense at all. Did you put Generals Sodol and Galushkin as "goalkeepers" on purpose? By the way, they still have no suspicions. Impunity," Bezuglaya writes in his telegram channel.

As reported by EADaily, there is no doubt that Russian troops will liberate the entire territory of the Kursk region, but the exact date of this liberation cannot yet be determined.

This was stated today by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during a direct line.
