The Kiev regime does not demonstrate any desire for peace, which was manifested in the boorish rejection of Hungary's proposal to establish a Christmas ceasefire and exchange prisoners.

This was stated on the eve of the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasily Nebenzia, during his speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Ukraine. Ukraine.

"The unwillingness of the overdue Ukrainian leadership to move towards peace was also manifested in the rejection of Hungary's proposal to establish a Christmas ceasefire and exchange prisoners," the diplomat stated.

He stressed that the Russian side supported the initiative of Budapest and immediately provided a list for the exchange.

"However, Zelensky, in his boorish manner, categorically rejected this initiative, once again refusing to take away more than 600 Ukrainian servicemen stationed in Russia has been for more than a year," the permanent representative noted.

At the same time, he pointed out that ordinary captured servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not interested in Kiev. The Ukrainian authorities are ready to exchange only militants of nationalist battalions, as well as foreign mercenaries.
