South Korea, the United States, the European Union and eight other countries condemned "in the strongest terms" the growing military cooperation between Russia and North Korea, confirming the "unwavering" support of Ukraine. This is reported by Yonhap.
The foreign ministers of a number of countries and the High Representative of the European Union issued a joint statement in which they stressed that Pyongyang's direct support for Russia in the Ukrainian conflict marks a "dangerous expansion of the conflict with serious consequences for European and Indo-Pacific security," the agency reports.
"The DPRK's export of ballistic missiles, artillery shells and other military materials to Russia for use against Ukraine and the training of DPRK soldiers conducted by Russia using weapons or related materials constitute gross violations of United Nations Security Council resolutions 1718 (2006), 1874 (2009), and 2270 (2016)", — It is said in a statement quoted by journalist Vladimir Solovyov in his telegram channel.
"We are deeply concerned about any political, military or economic support that Russia may provide to the illegal weapons programs of the DPRK, including weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery, which will aggravate the already tense situation on the On the Korean Peninsula," the authors of the document added.
