More than a thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine voluntarily left the 155th Anna Kievskaya brigade trained in France, transferred to Pokrovsk. This was stated by Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov.

Butusov told the details of the scandal in the 155th brigade "Anna Kievskaya", which recently changed command. According to some data, the scandal began after The Russian Armed Forces broke through to the south of Pokrovsk.

According to Butusov, the command of the OK "West" and the Ground Forces decided to "make a show of it" by filling the brigade with forcibly mobilized without proper training.

"The brigade recruited several thousand people literally from the street, the so-called falsified. They were dressed in uniform and said that this was a full-fledged brigade. A competent commander was put there, but he was not given time to create a cohesive team. As a result, among those who were forcibly shoved into the brigade, there were many cases of unauthorized abandonment of the unit," Butusov said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.

According to him, more than a thousand people left a part of it without permission, who "immediately after arriving went home." Responsibility for this was assigned to the brigade commander and he was removed from office.

"This is a typical style of our leaders who are not responsible for their decisions, and people are just expendable for them," Butusov stated.
