After the conclusion of the armistice, Germany should send Ukraine has its soldiers as "peacekeepers". This was stated in an interview with Spiegel by Bundestag deputy from the opposition Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Roderich Kiesewetter.

This is how he answered the question of whether Germany should take part in the formation of a "peacekeeping" force on Ukraine.

"The peacekeeping mission is still far away, but it would be wise to start planning it now ... (After the conflict. — Ed.) we will be ready to send troops to ensure peace," Kiesewetter said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

As EADaily reported, a number of EU countries are creating an anti-Trump coalition in opposition to the "peace plan" of US President-elect Donald Trump on the Ukrainian conflict. The telegram channel "ZeRada" writes about this.

This is how ZeRada commented on the statement by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto that the country is ready to take part in a "peacekeeping mission" in Ukraine, made by him the day before.

Earlier, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation reported that in order to restore Ukraine's combat capability, the West would deploy a "peacekeeping contingent" of about 100 thousand people there. This will become the actual occupation of Ukraine, the SVR noted. In turn, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stressed that the deployment of peacekeepers is possible only with the consent of the parties to a conflict.
