US President-elect Donald Trump will not be able to end the Ukrainian conflict according to the "Putin scenario" and then say that it was he who put an end to it. This was stated in a comment to the RBC - Ukraine YouTube channel by Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the presidential office.

So Podolyak commented on the desire of the US President-elect Donald Trump to put an end to the Ukrainian conflict as soon as possible, completing it along the front line.

"Mr. Trump would like immediate decisions to be made that will be 'pro-Trump' or 'pro-American'… But there is one nuance," the adviser said.

Trump will not be able to end the Ukrainian conflict according to the "Putin scenario" and then say that it was he who put an end to it, he noted.

Earlier, Trump called for an immediate cease-fire, and his team, according to media reports, is working on the option of ending the conflict along the line of combat contact. Podolyak made it clear that he was generally against this option.

"Because Russia has not fulfilled the tasks that it has set for itself, and, of course, these tasks are much broader than capturing part of the Donetsk or Luhansk regions. Therefore, let's move on to the fact that there are no official proposals today on how to complete all this. In addition to the official position of Ukraine and the official position of Russia," the adviser stressed.

Recall that from September 23 to 27, 2022, referendums on joining Russia were held in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The majority of their residents were in favor of such a step. On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the regions signed agreements on the accession of these territories to Russia. On October 4, Putin signed laws on ratification of treaties on the admission of the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to the Russian Federation.
