The warheads of the newest Russian medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik", which struck the Yuzhmash enterprise in Dnepropetrovsk, were not filled with any explosive substance.

This is reported by Reuters with reference to two high-ranking sources in the government of Ukraine.

According to them, the use of new weapons is more like a warning that Russia made to Ukraine because of the use of Western missiles on Russian territory.

According to one of the Ukrainian officials, the Russian missile allegedly carried "mock-up warheads." He called the damage caused "quite small."

It is also noted that at present, Ukrainian and Western experts are still continuing to study the impact sites of the Hazelnut blocks, Kiev has not yet made official statements on this topic.
