The soloist of the group "Bi-2" Leva (Egor Bortnik *) has been supporting the team for six months at his own expense. He admitted this in an interview with the YouTube channel Malanka Action.

According to the musician, he sold his "big and expensive" apartment in Moscow, which allows him to pay salaries to the band members. Bortnik* assured that he is currently making a profit from recordings and performances, and the group is gradually reaching self-sufficiency.

"I have placed my well-being on the sacrificial altar. And I don't regret it a bit. At such moments, you begin to understand what conscience is," concluded Bortnik without false modesty*.

As EADaily reported, the group has not liquidated its Russian company, Bi—2 LLC, and continues to accumulate debts. According to the telegram channel Shot, the debt is about 8 million rubles.

At the same time, in 2021, the income of Bi-2 LLC amounted to 23 million rubles.

Also earlier, the soloist of "Bi-2" said that the band's songs can be listened to in Russia, but the musicians don't get paid anything for it. Also, he does not receive any deductions from the RAO (Russian Authors' Society). Bortnik* stated that they would not pay anything for 4 million listens on the Yandex Music service either.
