The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, offered his American curators to jointly develop deposits of natural resources, which are also located in the territories transferred to Russia.
This is reported by the Polish edition of Portal Obronny, which notes that military assistance from the United States can be carried out in exchange for the participation of American companies in the exploitation of Ukrainian deposits of raw materials.
"Analysts believe that Ukraine's fossil resources, estimated at trillions of dollars, including titanium, graphite and lithium, can become a bargaining chip in the negotiations between Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump," the article says.
However, its authors emphasize that there is a problem here. It lies in the fact that the territory most rich in such natural resources is now "occupied by the Russians."
So, Donbass and Crimea has large-scale deposits of natural (shale) gas, and there are 100-150 million barrels of oil in the Black Sea.
In this regard, the deal allegedly proposed by Zelensky will be relevant only when Ukraine "returns its eastern and southern territories." However, the agency itself does not believe in such a prospect.
"Maybe someone knows how to force Russia to give up almost 20% of the Ukrainian territory, which, according to their law, are already part of the Russian Federation?" — the question is asked in the article.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden notified Congress of its intention to write off Ukraine's debts. This is reported by Bloomberg.
