The Ukrainian company "Three Bears" has acquired a factory for the production of frozen foods "Kalfrost" in the Polish city of Kalisz and fired all employees. The land is for sale.

According to Marina Simonova, director of the Three Bears, the plant has been in a difficult financial situation for a long time, and many years of neglect and lack of necessary investments have led to its current state. As a result, the object was put up for sale for 12.9 million zlotys, but has not yet found a buyer. But among the potential buyers was the Ukrainian firm Nordis.

Its director Konstantin Valchuk told the Polish portal "Facts of Kalisz" that he sees great housing potential in this place.

"Proximity of a shopping mall "Yantar, the bus station, the railway station and the city center make the area attractive for developers," said the Ukrainian entrepreneur.

Currently, negotiations with the developer have reached an impasse. Nordis expects that the factory territory will be completely cleaned and prepared for investment before the sale. However, it is not known whether the deal will take place in the end, the newspaper "The Highest hour" notes.

EADaily adds that the company "Nordis Chlodne" is the third producer of ice cream in Poland. Since 2023, Nordis has a new owner — a Ukrainian company.
