The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was not invited to the G20 summit this year. This was stated to journalists before flying to the summit in Brazil by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, DPA news agency reports.

"I regret that, unlike previous meetings... Zelensky was not invited to this one," Scholz said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

Scholz explained that he "very intensively" advocated Zelensky's invitation. The fact that this did not happen after all testifies to "what serious challenges we face," the Chancellor stressed.

As EADaily reported, the telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin was important and detailed, but did not contain a hint of a change in Moscow's position regarding the Ukrainian crisis. This was stated to journalists in Berlin before flying to Brazil for the G20 summit by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"It was important... the conversation was detailed, but brought an understanding that little has changed in the views of the Russian president... This is not good news," Scholz said, quoted by TASS.
